Also called more simply Frari (brothers), the Gothic church of Santa Maria dei Frari was raised by Franciscans from 1250 and was completed well later, in the XVth century, after many adventures.
Very imposing, it accommodates many art work such as the Assumption of Titien or the Virgin in Majesty of Bellini.
